Public Disclosure of CYBERPOL Officials
Only the President, Secretary General, and federally appointed staff such as judges or prosecutors are publicly listed as officials of CYBERPOL. This policy is mandated by federal approval under Royal Decrees WL22/16.594 and WL22/16.595, as CYBERPOL operates as part of the European Centre for Information Policy and Security (ECIPS)
Security and Privacy Measures
For security reasons, no CYBERPOL officials maintain profiles on LinkedIn or any other social media platforms. Any individual publicly claiming a role or affiliation with CYBERPOL on such platforms is not an official representative of the agency. This measure is in place to protect staff from exposure to threats and to maintain the integrity of our operations
Reporting Unauthorized Claims
If you encounter anyone publicly presenting themselves as a CYBERPOL official or publishing a role at The International Cyber Policing Organization (CYBERPOL), please report this immediately to the agency.
Reminder
– CYBERPOL does not issue personal identification to private investigators or detectives.
– Only staff of the General Secretariat may be issued official identification by the organization.
– CYBERPOL does not interact directly with the general public or request payments for services.
Your vigilance helps protect the security and reputation of CYBERPOL and its mission.
